NHS Connecting for Health (CFH) in England pilot of archetypes

The NHS England Connecting for Health (CFH) project is piloting the use of archetypes as ‘an approach for building a detailed national clinical record architecture’.

You can review and provide comments on the first set of draft models, via the project wiki at
http://www.ehr.chime.ucl.ac.uk/display/nhsmodels/Home.

Their first priority areas will be Emergency and Maternity Care.

It’s very interesting to see CfH exploring this area, and along with some work now underway in ISD in Scotland, the next year should be very interesting in this area.
